This page explains what happens to information you send through this website. It is written to meet UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
What is collected
If you send an enquiry, we receive the name and contact details you type in and whatever you write in the message. Nothing else is collected. There is no analytics on this page, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
The chat assistant
Messages you type into the chat assistant are sent to a server to generate a reply, and a transcript is kept only long enough to answer you. Please do not type medical information, card details or anything else sensitive into it. If you have an allergy, message Jay directly and speak to a person.
How long it is kept
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to answer you and to keep a record of the order, and then deleted.
Who else sees it
Nobody. Your details are not sold, shared or passed to any third party for marketing.
Your rights
You can ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email contact@jaysbakes.co.uk. If you are not happy with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
